| CONDUCTOS 3D
This application allows us to represent ducts in 3D inside the AUTOCAD program using any of the 14, 2000 or 2002 versions. It also provides measurement reports and many tools to solve problems with joints.
2.1 The air conditioning and ventilation circuit calculation and design solution
Users can take the floor plan of the building linked to the installation as a reference point, as well as a simplified 2D drawing with the general format of the complete circuit.
Based on the floor plan, the program can automatically erect the partition walls, allowing the user to set the floor and/or suspended ceiling levels.
The designer can add partition walls, pillars, a suspended ceiling and obstacles (beams, pipes) that will be taken into account during the circuit design process.
2.2 Duct types and accessories
The program covers three basic duct types:
Rectangular cross section
Circular cross section
Oval cross section
To change the circuit direction and solve problems with crossings and splits, components such as elbow joints, shifts and junctions are used.

The designer can complete the circuits by adding diffusers, grids and other accessories.
2.3 Working mode
The program allows three different working modes
Manual
Aided
Automatic
MANUAL
The user chooses each of the components or ducts and arranges them one after another in sequence
AIDED
The designer chooses the first circuit components and its position.
The components that will take the key positions are then established: crossings, shifts, changes in cross section, etc.
Finally, the program completes the design automatically by adding all of the necessary intermediate ducts and eliminates any difference in height between the components that need to be joined.

AUTOMATIC
Once two components and their position have been established, the program adds the intermediate ducts that join them.
When a duct or components is chosen in the circuit, the program displays a graphic window showing its geometric shape and measurements. The user can set the desired values or accept the default values. The direction of the outlet vent or vents can also be changed.
There are different versions of junctions (two elbow joints, one elbow joint, a horizontal section, three components) that can be combined to provide many different solutions depending on the type, number of elbow joints and measurements.
The user can set several parameters at the start of the session to avoid entering them more than one (thicknesses, length of straight sections, tab types, etc).
Assistance tables are included to help the design to select standard measurements.
2.4 Reports
At the end of the circuit design process, the program automatically produces reports to make manufacturing proposals and projects: Breakdowns of each component (quantity and measurements), List of materials (component type, quantity, thickness, length, etc).
